How Do I correct My Name, Course/Institution and Other Errors after Registering For JAMB Examination? See How.

Going by the popular adage, "No one is above mistake", one cannot deny the fact that mistakes are bound to happen in all spheres of life. Making mistakes does not make you a foolish person but failure to realize and correct your mistakes portrays you as the most foolish person on earth.

I am cocksure in course of registering for this year's JAMB examination; most candidates have made unconscious mistakes in their names, gender/sex, state/LGA, course/institution and date of birth (DOB) which they later realized while going through their registration slips. Such candidates might be disturbed by this due to the fear that such silly mistakes cannot be remedied.

However, it is important to note that not all these corrections are available immediately as some can only be done much later on. For example, you can only do JAMB change of course/institution after the results of UTME have been released for checking.

For JAMB Change of Course/Institution.

This allows candidates to apply for a change of course or Institution immediately after the release of results. This service has a time lapse.

This allows candidates to apply for correction of names where there are spelling errors or error in arrangement e.g. Surname, First name or Last name.

JAMB candidates can apply for correction of Date of birth. Supporting documents will be required. An indemnity form will be downloaded, printed, filled and submitted at Candidates Institution for Approval along with supporting documents.
