One can never deny the
fact that literature is life as it showcases societal experiences through
prose, drama and poetry. At one point, it showcases humorous and hilarious
scenes in order to ease our pains by invoking uncontrollable laughter in us;
and at another point, it brings to limelight the societal ills in order to
correct them. This is achieved through the use of characters (humans like me
and you) who perform roles totally different from what they represent
in reality in order to pass across the underlying message of the play or
movie. It is not really easy you know.
