The National Examination Council (NECO), on Friday, September 16, 2016,
released the 2016 June/July Senior School Certificate Examination (SSCE)
results.
The Registrar and Chief Executive Officer of NECO,
Prof. Charles Uwakwe, made this known to the public while announcing the
results at the Council’s National Headquarters in Minna,
Niger State, on Friday, September 16, 2016.
According to him, there is a tremendous improvement compared to previous years
as about 84.54% (i.e. 905,011)
of 1,022,474 candidates who sat for the examination got five credits
and above in English Language while 80.16% (i.e.812,846) of 1,022,474
candidates got five credits and above in Mathematics.
Comparing 2015 and 2016 performance of candidates, He said that there was one percent (1%)
improvement in the general performance of candidates in 2016 (88.51%) as
compared with 2015 (87.51%).
He commended the council for sustaining its timely
release of results at the stipulated time from the date the last paper was
written, adding that 43,905 cases of malpractice was recorded with a total
of 194 schools involved, further stating that the results of candidates involved have been cancelled.

the examination to check their results on the council's website @http://www.mynecoexams.com/results/

2. Select year Examination Type
3. Select year of examination
4. Enter your card PIN number
5. Enter your Examination Number
6. Click on “Check My Result” button to finally see your result.
